Im just happy that the bush administration is OUT!

I really am happy to be a part of this mark in history, but I hope it doesnt become all about race, that would be a shame.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Yes it is monumental because of race, but I think it is so beautiful the way Obama has brought so many different kinds of people together and made us feel hopeful, excited and inspired again.

It's been a very long time since I've been this involved in my local, state, and federal politics. Part of this is because of the immigration process, but also because I have grown weary of our country's leadership.

I know these next four years will be vastly different from the last 8. I am interested to see how things will turn out.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.
