That is, if all of these promises fall flat and the country's economic outlook and financial position does not improve over the next few years..

Republicans took all the blame for this financial mess even though they never, not even once, had a senate majority during the last eight years. Therefore they did not have the opportunity to do or put in place everything they wanted, without opposition.

Get over yourself and learn how to discuss a topic without being about a person or their feelings. It is a legitimate thread for those with republican or independent views. But once again you have managed to hijack it like some mentally challenged child because you don't like it.
