but way too many of these are on cars

jesus-fish-bg.jpg

what's the big deal if someone has one of those on their car?

nothing, i'm saying there's a lot of those on cars (as you would expect) and no obvious support of darwin. those darwin fish aren't too uncommon where i'm from, but i'm from somewhere multicultural and progressive. i love mississippi though. ;)

One question,

Do you think this chart would be similar to the one regarding anti-Darwinism?

quite possibly! i love how mississippi is on the bottom of that list, as they are for everything apart from obesity.

I thought so...

maybe we should ask hal for his expert opinion?

*COMPUTERIZED LOL*

No... I wouldn't really rush to make a sweeping byesque overgeneralization of these possible connections but eventually some patterns can be seen.

HAL 9000 is in agreement. I wouldn't worry about the car or a religious sign but more likely the idiot driving it.

ya, more often than not it is some old granddad who can't remember how to drive. i don't want to anger people and paint everyone with the same brush but last time i was over there an old man with one of those on his car randomly stopped his car in the outside lane of the highway and just sat there, no clue why but we almost drove into the back of him!

Seriously, that's why there should be a change on the driver license rules, after a certain age they should make sure that the person is still able to drive.

That's what they do before you get it the first time right? why not apply the test again

i agree. in the uk your license only lasts until you are 70 and then you must get evidence from your doctor to show that you are safe to continue driving. we popped into walgreens for something and this old lady held up the line for about 10 minutes because she could barely see and could not work out how to sign a check. she didn't seem to remember anything that the cashier said to her or be able to hear very well or see the small change that she was being handed. she must have been in her late 80's, if not older. after she was finally done she struggled with the cart to her car, she was so frail. if i had not been caught up in the line i would have offered to help her because it really did look that bad. i made a comment to my partner that i was petrified that she was going to get into a car and drive after displaying that she is that infirm. we were sure to drive away quickly and get away from her. it's sad because unless she has family or friends who will help her she probably doesn't have any other options than trying to do things like that herself.

Although I do remember one time my grandpa drove me to the airport when I was 17... made me miss my flight. Felt like I was a slow rider or something.

i'm not prejudice against anyone! these are simply my experiences. ;)

as i said in my previous post, in the uk after you are 70 years old you must provide evidence that it is still safe for you to be behind the wheel and i really think that would be a good thing along with banning people from texting (or just using a cell phone) whilst driving! i saw a young girl driving an ambulance whilst texting, lol! it just never ends.

ms progressive? compared to where i live it isn't, at all. you think that it is? :o

after going to picayune and being given a religious lecture about the bible after mentioning a winning lottery ticket i'm pretty certain that it isn't progressive. ;)

And I thought MS was a bastion of progressive thinking. Sheesh. Where's that IQ chart again?

it's americas poorest and fattest state. it can't be progressive, that's a contradiction in terms. ;)

i will say it again though, i love it. and yes they do have shoes. :P

Food's got to be good for people to eat it so much. That's what my pappy would say.
