Like someone saying I hate 2008 A8 Audi's, I prefer a 1978 Datsun. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, that is just stupid.

Besides - I'd have thought the more appropriate vehicle to country comparison comparison for Australia would be a beaten up jeep with kangaroo $hit up the sides and a piece of road kill trapped in the grille

I know.. Audi is Italian if memory serves, can you even buy datsuns these days? Besides I thought all of us brits had mullets and drove those Soviet era Yugos. Aston martins are made on the moon.

Going beyond limits is a little hard considering I only have Hal's posts to go by. I don't even know his name. So when I see "Hal" state he is not a registered democrat, I find that funny because this is the first time I have seen it posted.

I'm not Aficionado's greates fan by any means but I have a couple of friends who live in Sidney and they have nothing but wonderful things to say about Australia. Don't know if it's true or not but that's what I've been told.

indeed. i don't think he remembers half of the stuff he says to people, most probably because he doesn't remember who is who. for example that stuff i quoted from yesterday shows him being offensive and yet here he is again today saying it's bad for people to behave like he does? no s### sherlock, we know this already, it's you that doesn't get it.

I remember but one could spend a day here just defending themselves. As is the case with VW, alien, etc..

Constantly having to justify your views to various people here gets a little tiring after a while.

One thing is having a defensible view and another is having an indefensible attitude problem. You lump them quite nicely so thanks.

quite possibly! i love how mississippi is on the bottom of that list, as they are for everything apart from obesity.

i know that i've never seen any of these when i'm there, or indeed anywhere in the south that i've visited.

but way too many of these are on cars
