You keep those tears deep inside. It's ok, Charles...let it all out.

a glass of egg nog and wild turkey a day keep the tears away.

I don't know...for some, it seems to make 'em angry. So angry that they post angry rants here on VJ.

My best friend has SAD, I think. All the funding for her job just got cut too, so no job for her after December. I think it'll be a rough winter. :(

Sorry to hear that, Jenn. (F)

Thanks, Steven. The worst part is that she is a social worker who cares for people with mental disorders. It's quite scary that they are cutting funding for these types of programs.

Oh my....was it the state cutting the funding or the Fed?

TBH, I have no idea. I would think it would be the state.

We're voting on Tuesday whether to eliminate the state income tax. I'm still undecided on that one.

Yeah... MA will have to build a couple of Disney World Resorts to balance the revenue lost from state income tax.

The buzz here in Chicago is that the funding is primarily on the state level with some, and I do mean some... coming from the Feds. Hope your friend gets employment soon this winter.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

What blows my mind is that we voted down the legalization of gambling. Crazy voters. I think crazy gamblers should pay to take care of crazy people. That seems reasonable to me!

Tell me about it. I find it insulting. Prejudiced ignorant a-holes, that's what they are. But god -whichever one- forbid some sh1tty college football team needs a new STADIUM, because magically funds appear. Saying :ranting: and :protest: is not enough.
