Angry because he was stuck in traffic, a man named Joe McCain -- possibly the brother of the presidential candidate -- placed a call earlier in the week to 911 emergency, ABC News affiliate, WJLA, reports.

The October 21 call went to the city of Alexandria, Virginia emergency operations. This is the transcript of the call:

Operator: 911 state your emergency

Caller: It's not an emergency but do you know why on one side at the damn drawbridge of 95traffic is stopped for 15 minutes and yet traffic's coming the other way?

Operator: Sir, are you calling 911 to complain about traffic? (pause)

Caller: "(Expletive) you." (caller hangs up)

The 911 operator, apparently, unnerved by use of the 911 emergency number to complain about bad traffic, called back the phone number that placed the call.

The operator reached a voice mail message that said, "Hi this is Joe McCain I can't take this message now because I'm involved in a very (inaudible) important political project... I hope on Nov. 4th we have elected John."

Outraged by the operator's action, the man called 911 a second time. That conversation went as follows:

Caller: Somebody gave me this riot act about the violation of police.

Operator: Did you just call 911 in reference to this?

Caller: Yeah.

Operator: 911 is to be used for emergencies only, not just because you're sitting in traffic.

WJLA reports that the McCain campaign would not comment about the candidate's brother.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Welcome to traffic, a$$hole. Deal with it.

Reminds me of that time some idiot chick called the cops on Burger King for not giving her the right order.

".. we're not going to go down there and enforce your western bacon cheeseburger".

I don't know if this relevent, but, it shows that the McCain family like to abuse their powers. Well, in this call, Joe McCain wanted to use scare tactics on the 911 operator. However, it didn't work. Maybe John McCain is different. And, maybe he's not.

Working in the semiconductor industry, when we design CMOS chips, and assemble them. We wire the interconnect so that the CMOS chip will work in the worst case scenerio. Applying this implementation to John McCain, I like to think of it as a worst case scenario for John McCain. Suppose if he's not different from his brother, that would be the worst case scenerio. I wouldn't let fate determine John McCain election. That is just wrong.

I guess we know that at least John McCain does not leave his brother to exist in abject poverty?

Trivial article about a trivial event. Who cares.

For one thing it shows me his brother is a Douche bag and indicates what sort of family he has. Why McCain left his wife, who was injured, to go be with a wealthy broad.

911 is an emergency service, where it can be a matter of life or death for people to get through. Not a service for some idiot to call and ask about freakin traffic. Especially not from a guy whose brother is running for president and attacking the credibility of the other candidate because of the people this other candidate apparently associates with.
