TOUCH means the last update USCIS made on your case. If you register online at the USCIS website, and then you entered your receipt number in your portfolio (table showing your receipt number, LAST UPDATE, form number, form title), you will be able to see the last update on your case. Also, if you want to receive email from CRIS (USCIS), click or click on the EMAIL ON and then you will be receiving emails on the updates on your case.

I hope this help you understand what TOUCH means.

God bless.

Newbie here as well.

Should there be a concern if you never see an update other than the original NOA1 milestone date in your online case status. I see that many see their application "touched" early on, which we haven't. USCIS deposited the check four days after the NOA1 date, but no further action.

Obviously we are VERY anxious to get an update with ANY information, but we continue to be patient. The waiting does SUCK. LOL. Based on all of the statistics Ive found here, some sort of update should be coming in the next couple of weeks. Michelle and I have our fingers crossed!!!

I do want to say this is a great site and source of information. Thanks to everyone who contributes. We are not alone in this....grin.
