Hi everyone! I'm writing here today cause I'm truly worried.

The thing is that I'll be seeing my fiance in the States next month. I'll be visiting only for a week but I heard that once we have started the proceeding for the K-1 visa it is not permitted for me to go to the States. Does anyone know if that is true? I'm feeling terrible as I long with all my heart to be with my baby once more.

I hope you can help me clear my doubts.

Thanks!!!!

Not true, but then that does not mean your entry is guaranteed either as it never is....

YMMV

If you do go make sure you take plenty of proof that ties you to your home country such as bills, letter from your employer, rental agreements etc. I don't think it shows up on immigration's system anyway that you are applying for a K-1.

Thanks for your prompt replies!!!! I'm certainly hoping things will go perfect so I'll start preparing the documents you're telling me. I hope, with those in my hands, I won't be sent back

FAQ, FAQ, FAQ: http://www.visajourney.com/faq/k1k2visa-application.html#4.6 4.6)...Can my fiance(e) come to the US to visit me once the visa process is started?

Also your profile shows Mexico, last I knew Mexico is not in the Middle east or North Affrica. Perhaps K-1 forum, or Latin America, Mexico & the Caribbean would be the forums for this.
