Charles, stop doing that till you tell me what it means. Please.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

I am sorry, but just a cash being checked does not mean that you are approved!!!

You will probably get NOA 1 in a few days which just means that they have gotten your petition and since the cash was checked it will be worked on. This, however, will take a few months until you receive NOA2. We filed in June and are still waiting...

All it means is that they cashed your check. They recieved it and cashed it. If they happen to deny you, they are keeping your money.

Next thing will be the NOA1 saying they got it.

When they send you the approval notice, that is the only thing that means you were approved.

Good luck.

what about RFE?? in what part of the process they are sent? if there is one of course, which I hope I don't get

First you will get the NOA 1 meaning they received your petition to put it in a box and let it catch dust for the next few month. When it's your file's turn, the adjudicator looks at everything and IF (!) there is anything missing, a form filled out wrong, a signature missing, or idk insufficent proof of the ongoing relationship, etc, they will send you an RFE, requesting more evidence. They will exactly tell you what they need from you. Of course it's not mandatory to get a RFE, it really lies in the hands of the person looking over your stuff. So IF you get a RFE, you sent the requested papers back in a certain timeframe and most likely they continue to work on it. Shortly after that you should get your NOA 2, the approval notice.

I don't mean to be rude, but do some reading up on past posts and have a look here.
