I would also think you would have to be earning more than a $1,000,000 in order to not have to worry about the potential disaster having a debilitating illness would cause. Again, if you have that kind of income, I can see a certain justification in voting for the GOP.

You probably have to be earning into the millions to really see any benefit though. The GOP don't like to let the 'getting there' into their tax clubs :lol:

From a tax point of view, you might well benefit from a McCain government.

Honestly Cleo, I don't really like any of the options on offer for president or vice president. I don't trust Obama at all, and I do think that McCain is crazy. Having weighed them both up I think the crazy is slightly better and financially a better option.

Here's a thought, what with all the bickering here in these pages:

Why not forgo voting for either of these candidates and vote for someone else?

There are other candidates...the ones that are not allowed a voice, not at debates, not in the media...people need to do their own research on them and that my friends is actually work. Not easy....and worth it in the end I'm sure.

Oh and one the posters here on VJ who has in their signature something about Work Hard and Be Happy (or something like that), I have something to say to that too:

working hard has never made anyone good $$$.
