Is there anyone you can GET to have cosponsor you Anita??Pretty much that is a MUST HAVE requirement, as I'm sure you already know. If he isn't working by then, and making the income requirement or above, you're going to have to have a cosponsor. If you don't, they may give you some time to get one..I'm not sure..but I would definitely be on it right away. Thinking of you..all the best. Michelle

Not to be a downer or anything, but don't you need to bring the affadavit of support with you all done already? If so, him not having a job until right before the interview (is it the 7th of June?) could be bad... If he doesn't have either a job or proof of having a lot in the bank right now, I would think about getting a co-sponser asap.... Good luck, I'm sure you'll work it out

I am not fond of Indian dress... the disasters I have had with a sari are almost comical - they just seem to fall off... has happaned to me at weddings and at an official Embassy do to celebrate Panama's national day... that is followed by a desperate attempt to put it in place and have it stay there...

I am not fond of salwar kameez either...

Am most comfortable in western style dress...

I have a hard time with saris too - the trick is lots of safety pins lol one on the pleats at the front, then when you tuck the peats in another one attaching the pleats to the underskirt, another pin on the shoulder - depending on how you wear it - if you wear the sari with the bit just going over your left shoulder and flowing down then you need safety pin on that shoulder attached to the blouse. If you wear it the other way like most married women do - over the left shoulder then pulling accross the right waist and tucked in over round the left hip then you need safety pin on shoulder and on the left hip - hope this makes sence lol it takes me a long time to put a sari on - and i am debating weather I want to wear a sari on our wedding day or not lol I like to be traditional as that is where I came from but I am not really into my religion that much - I would call myself more western and into new age stuff, but then again I dont want to wear the traditional white wedding dress as I have been married before - ohhh all the worry about what to wear lol

I don't know anything about your type of retirement policy. I did use my retirement funds as an asset for my I-864.
