Hey guys, I receieved my SSN in the mail on Saturday and I applied for it last Monday.

Removal of Conditions

05/20/2011.....................Sent off package today, so now playing the waiting game.(Day 1)

05/23/2011.....................Package was received(Day 3)

05/28/2011.....................Received NOA/one year extention letter dated 5/23/2011(Day 8)

06/04/2011.....................I got my biometrics letter in the mail, my appointment is for 06/13/2011@11:00am (Day 14)

06/13/2011.....................Biometrics appointment today @Cleveland, Ohio @11:00am (Day 23)

09/20/2011.....................Approved for 10yr green card, wooohooooo next step citizenship

09/24/2011.....................Received 10yr green card in the mail.

Hey Tanyaru,

If your old license was expiring in 2011, why did u go to renew it with EAD..Its still valid, you could of just used it till its up unless u moved to a new state and u wanted that state license..Yea cuz I was in the midwest and they did not really know about immigration law..but that was years ago when it was not that strict..and i got a 5 yr license just with my passport when I was at college so i guess.

Thanks for sharing though, I thought I the only one.

Did anyone apply for their driver's license and only got the length of time till the expiration of the EAD? I had a license where i went to college, so all i had to do was a vision exam, didn't have to do the rules of the road and road test. My license expired November of last yr so I went to the DMV and only got a one year license. Anyone else experience this? I also start a new job this Tuesday but its like 38 days till my interview..I will keep checking everyone else progress cuz I know there are alot more interviews before mine.

CONGRATS ON APPROVALS GUYS! PLEASE BRING HOME MORE GREEN CARDS AND LET US KNOW OF YOUR EXPERIENCE.

Yes, we moved to a new state not too long ago. But the main thing why I changed my license is that my old one had maiden name on it and EAD had a married name. By the law, you can only use one name so I switched (at least thats what I understood). Plus, I was so eager to take my sweety's last name :yes:

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

Just saw online that they are sending us a notice that they have transferred our case to California. Didn't someone say that if it gets transferred, there is a probability that we won't have an interview? That would be great!

congrats yes its a high chance. We have our interview on Tuesday i will update you all. So nervous its unreal, but with us getting a additional date after ours was cancelled they may not even see us.

Hopefully they will i want to get rid of the nervous feeling....lol we are completely legit i just hate any sort of interview especially one this important

well quick update i got there no one was there then it clicked - inaugeration day.........i guess they closed early.

oh well roll on the 11th of Feb

04/10/06: Arrive in USA on F1 visa.

08/15/08: Marry the most amazing woman in the world.

10/08/08: Sent AOS package to USCIS.

10/13/08: Package Delivered (I-131,I-765,I-130,I-485.)

10/20/08: Checks Cashed.

10/24/08: NOA's in mail for all, all receipt numbers show online.

10/28/08: Biometrics Appointment letter received for 11/13/08

11/13/08: Biometrics completed successfully, case touched online also i presume because of Biometrics

11/24/08: NOA for Interview

12/13/08: AP Approval letter sent out

12/18/08: EAD Card production ordered

12/20/08: AP arrives in mailbox

12/23/08: EAD Approval notice sent

01/20/09: Interview date in Mount Laurel, NJ (Cancelled but will still be attending this one also, realized why it was cancelled.....Inaugeration)

02/11/09: New interview date (Rescheduled due to cancellation letter)
