i know i have read this somewhere but i couldn't find it......in the employment section of the G325A form, if we have a gap in employment, do we state it 'NONE' with the respective dates or just state your jobs worked in the last 5 years?.....because my fiance has 2 sections where she was unemployed and i would prefer to leave them out because if not i will need a separate attachment sheet that i am tring to avoid....thanks everyone...

You should explain gaps - 'unemployed', 'student' etc. is acceptable - just don't leave gaps. If you need a separate attachment, so be it.

It pays to be 100% complete - you have just this one chance to get it right or face bothersome delays and inquiries.

it was twice, a total of 6 months each. but the rest of the dates show her 'employments' so why do we need to really state her unemployments......that goes for me as well.....i just moved back from living together with her in Colombia. i am still unemployed since july that i left Colombia, but i will start working for UPS next week, so for the 2 months i was unemployed i should state it as well? they will see that i moved from Colombia to the US and jobs aren't the easiest to come by....

Does it really matter "why"? The question states:

Applicant's employment last five years. (If none, so state.) List present employment first.

They say they want it, so give it to them. 5 minutes of annoyance on your end could be potential months saved of annoyance later on for an RFE over something so silly as this.

A very sound advice  Better to spend five minutes creating the attachment than waste couple weeks answering to RFE. Best of luck, hopefully you guys will have a speedy approval!

so how should i make the attachment? with all my employers and unemployment on the attachment sheet or just the one that i can't fit meaning my furthest employment.....obviously signed and dated as well.....as should these be stapled together each one to the G325a form or just behind each individual g325a form. sorry for all the questions, its just that i am a perfectionist and really dont want a RFE, so what do you guys think or what have you guys done? thanks everyone you are all so kind for helping so much

This should make it a bit easier. Those are attachments I've created when filling in my form. We printed only one copy and even forgot to date and sign it and still got approved without RFE. To be on a safer side, print four copies - one for each page of G-325A, sign them and date them!

Edited to add: You don't have to fill in your full employment history on this extra sheet. On Form G-325A, on the last line available put: See attachment A (or B.) and than just continue on the extra sheet!
