Prove to those people that they're wrong (though you don't have to prove to anyone)... Don't mind them, they will just ruin your day... The important is your fiance' loves you and believes you...

Expect more judgments to come, that's normal, more to those with 10 or more years age gap... always remember that at the end of the day it's you and your fiance' that matter most.. God bless us! :)

this is sad to know..as they you cant please everybody..we have been trying so hard just to win their appreciation but then there are really individuals who are like that..just so hard to please..

same goes for me, just recently a new job offer was assigned to me but i had to let it go since i will be resigning eventually..that job offer has been my long dream but then i dont have any choice but to pass it :( because of love :)

I completely understand. Most people will say you are lucky coz you get to go to US. What they dont see is its NOT going to the US that excites me or what drives me to bear with the whole process, its being with my fiance. And that going to US is just a bonus, per say. I think i would have followed him even if he lives or goes to Timbukto or Fiji... whereever.

I have the same fears. In here, i have my family, friends and career. I have stability here whereas in US im off to a fresh start. BUT i know HE IS WORTH IT.
