All - My check has been cashed yesterday. However, the WAC # (though not very clear) I used it to check the case status. It tells me that the case status is received on Sept 23 for I129 and Petition for non immigrant worker.

How could this be? I applied for I-129F for alien fiancee (triple checked the forms). Something does not seem right. Please let me know. Thanks.

Also, please confirm that this is the address that I should have sent my I-129F application

On your status online, does it have your name? Is it possible that you misread the WAC #? You should get the hard copy NOA1 any day now so that should confirm for you if there was, in fact, an error.

It does not have my name. Does it usually have one's (petitioner's) name?

No, the online status will not show your name, as this is what it will say @ the top:

Receipt Number: WAC08XXXXXXXX

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status: Case received and pending.

Just wait to get your hard copy in the mail and you should be fine. If you really want to make sure you got the right #, you can call your bank and have them mail you a copy of it or see if they can get a better read on the back of your check.

My hard copy took about a week to get to me after my check was cashed.... so I would just wait.

Ingats!!

I just looked this up on the USCIS website...Your last four digits are incorrect if you mailed your papers to the 92607-0130 instead of 92607-1013... Maybe you typed in the wrong numbers when you posted though?

Apart from that, I am not sure why your case status says that you have a pending request for non-immigrant worker... Have you received your I-797C (NOA1) in the mail yet? You may want to double check to be sure you are typing the correct number into the space for receipt number.

Anyway, with careful reading of the numbers, the case number now shows up as a UI-129F fiance visa. I double checked the address and the one that I have posted is right. Thanks.

Thank you.

Hi!

You try to register online at USCIS so you could as well have your status check if they're reviewing your papers and that's what we called Touched!

If you're are not sure and confused... Give them a call and at the same time. Wait for your NOA hardcopy so you will have the confirmation if they filed it wrongly.

That is really strange... Why are the addresses different???? I hope that the papers get to the correct office whether or not the address is completely correct or not... Are one of these addresses outdated or something? Wow that's confusing...
