So, we got married but We are both students, just recent graduated... We don't own a house or a car together. We don't have an insurance but I have an Insurance in Europe that cover me here. We met in Europe like 7 months ago and We just want to be together so We got married... My family is in Europe and They weren't able to come because My grandad was really sick.

We are both from the same school in USA and We met in Europe coz this school have some international programs with students abroad.

Which evidence can we send with our documents? We only have pictures... we are moving to another aparment... so, maybe, the contract of this aparment but not more...

It is weird how difficult is to show you are a real couple when you don't have money :P

I am a bit confused, where did you marry? Are you applying for a Spousal visa??

If you married out of the country, and entered the USA on a visitor's visa or VWP, and intend to now adjust status, you will be questioned as to your intent when you entered the USA, VWP, and visitors visa is for visiting the USA, NOT IMMIGRATING, this is visa fraud. Apply for a spousal visa (CR-1 or K-3) and enter the USA correctly.

If you married in the USA and have not left the country, and you can convince the interviewing officer that your intent upon entry to the USA was NOT IMMIGRATIONS then you may file I-130/I-485 to adjust status.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

I think he's an F-1 student and asking about the evidence they need for the I-130.

Umm, this is a tough one. I guess include pictures, and evidence of you meeting in Europe for now and when the time comes for the interview you should have a little more stuff to show.

I need a little more clarification on what type of visa you are applying for.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

There's no indication a visa is in process. This is the AOS forum but yes, it's unclear whether AOS is appropriate or they need a visa process. No profile and no timeline as well as no immigration related details means we're working in the dark here.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

It is weird how difficult is to show you are a real couple when you don't have money :P

You can do joint bank account and credit cards, cell phone bill transcripts showing that you guys are calling each other, affidavits of people you know swearing about your genuine relationship, postcards, bording passes (if you flew together), emails, etc...

See, it is plenty of things you can show.

I passed the Medical Examination and i have the documents from the doctor.

I have two sponsors and we have friends to prove we are together.

We got married three weeks ago in New York.

I am just afraid... I mean, We are together but since We are both students we don't have kind of a economy together beyond that our family money deposits in our respective accounts he!...

Just a suggestion---you might want to try asking this also in the subforum for adjustment of status from student, tourist, or work visa. Your procedure is going to be different from what those of us doing AOS from a K1 or K3 visa need to do.

That said, bona fide relationship can be proven with things such as photographs, letters or emails you wrote to each other, cards, cell phone or phone bills, saved instant messenger chats. You may not have a lot of that if you've never been a long distance couple, but you probably have some. Boarding passes if you have gone to visit each other or (as mentioned) travelled together. Birthday cards, Christmas cards, that kind of thing.

Showing you live together as husband and wife, you can show the joint lease you have signed. Why not open a joint checking account? It doesn't matter that your only income is money from your families. Are the utilities in both names? If not, put them in both names. Showing bills that come to you jointly is evidence of living together as husband and wife.
