He was recollecting about when he was 14 and how his affectionate mother would cradle him to her bosom like a baby (don't quote me on that). He was being frank and honest about his sexuality - what was going on his mind at the time - not that he would actually act upon it.

That's a bit too much frankness and honesty IMO. Most guys don't look at mommy that way...at least not in my circles.

But really...if it was some bucktoothed hillbilly from the Appalachians with tobacco juice running down his chin and wearing bib overalls that talked trash like that on a U-Tube video you would most likely find high humor in that, take the ball, and run with it.

Artsy people are known for being a bit eccentric, but there are limits. Why would anyone say something so weird? Especially on tape? That's over the top.

It's not something most people would admit on tape but as the OP states, it was never meant to released to the public. If he had said that to his therapist, you'd never know. Again, I don't think Lennon was being incestuous...perhaps eccentric and honest as he recollected on what ran through his mind as a 14 yr. old. On a totally different note, I remember what hormones did to me at age 14. If the wind blew... I often had to cover myself with my books when getting up from class and hoping and praying that my math teacher, who was a nun no less, wouldn't call me to work on a problem on the chalkboard. Age 14 was hell.

I may not be an expert in boys, but from what I have heard a 14 year old would do to to just about anyone that would let him, gross as that may sound. There was a neighbor boy that had the hots for me. He was 14. All of the little girls would call him and go crazy about him, but he was after an older woman. I found it rather ewwwy.
