----BEWARE---when paying AOS and IV bills online

I check the payment page periodicly by putting the NVC case number and the INN on the sign in page and saw that finally the bill for the IV was online. I imediately paid the bill and was hoping to see the PAID the next day instead I saw payment status as unpaid. I called NVC and got thru....apparently the bill was not acutally generated yet so my payment was not applied to the NVC case....they are going to see if a supervisor will apply the payment to the case and also told me if they do it will take an additional 10-14 days OUCH Big mistake...even bigger if i made a $400 donation if they dont apply it to the case!!!!!!!! Anyone else have this happen? If so what happened?

i have heard this happen to another member...i dont know what the end result was...if the supervisor applies your payment, and it gets posted within 10-14 days, you are still better off by saving tons of time...and they cannot just take ur money without an answer what they did with it...if they have an online payment system where you can pay, they cannot just eat up ur $400 saying its a system mistake...thats their problem/issue, not urs...if its problematic they need to remove that system out of the web...dont worry, if u paid the money and have a receipt of the bank, there is no way they can eat ur money...u may have to wait for a refund or an adjustment but eventually they have to account for ur money...i wud suggest that if need be pay the $400 by certified check again and claim a refund for the one that they mistakenly wud have charged u online...like i said, no one can eat ur money for free...hope all works out for u...good luck!

When I paid my AOS fee it changed to 'Not Paid' the next day and stayed that way for 2 days, before finally changing to PAID. I've heard this a lot, so its not uncommon. I didn't call or do anything...it just sorted itself out. Had no problems with my IV fee though.

Everyone's payment is being processed like that. If you read the payment page note on the right, is clearly states that it will take 2 business days to clear and apply. Mine did same too, next day after the payment it said "not paid", day later changed to "paid". Just wait another day, do not try to pay again and do not worry, tomorrow or Monday it will clear the bank and change to "paid".

Just to make sure, when you see NOT PAID the next day just click on the lower left bottom called PAYMENT RECIEPTS and you will see that your payment has IN PROCESS sign in front of it. If not, there is something wrong.

Nimche is absolutely right. There is something funky with their payment system but dont worry abt the status. the payment receipt has the correct status..and it will show either paid or in process... good luck!
