Why don't I see you quoting irrelevant polls that cite Obama ahead?

Oh that's right, because 1,217 (possibly?) random people represent the entire country.

Boooring.

Edit: Actually, it might represent most of the voters in Palin's Wasilla, Alaska.

LOL....Because I don't cite "irrelavant polls" at all!!!!! They're perfectly "relevant" from legit sources!

48 - 11, Obama, with some McCain leads here and there.

Polls taken since May. So, wonder where you were when many of those other "polls" were mentioned.

Never seen someone cream in his pants so hard at a poll before.

Hmm, let's see what the peeps in this country have to say about experience in the latest polls:

Eighty percent say McCain, with nearly three decades in Congress, has the right experience to be president.

Just 46 percent say Obama, now in his fourth year in the Senate, is experienced enough.

Another 47 percent say Obama lacks the proper experience — an even worse reading than the 36 percent who had the same criticism about Palin, now in her second year as governor after serving as a small-town mayor in her state.

ditto.......experience, experience, EXPERIENCE

Could it be because there are no polls that have him ahead? Well, maybe one.

Why's that? Of all the 59 polls taken since May, well, cited on the link I gave you, 48 of them had Obama leading.

Polls are statistics. Have you ever taken math, or even stats courses to understand statistics and probability? It's very easy to tell meaningful ones and not-so-meaningful ones. These polls aren't meaningful.

The only place they would be is precise random polling in key states with "buzzwords" used to try and see which ones would secure a vote. You'd be surprised how often that one works, from national to local elections. However, local polls of 1,200 to determine a national election? Consider how flawed exit polls were and how inaccurate they can be, and they are quite specific.

I said this before, but I have no idea why people are harping so much on polls. They mean nothing.

Hey, if you want to ignore the polls then more power to you. But to say that Obama has more leads since May has very little relevance. The only one that matters is the latest one because that is the current mood of the public. Right now, today, more people would vote for McCain than Obama.

Absolutely correct. The current poll or public mood is all that matters. And the most important one is in November.

This is commical really. On one side you have people trying to persuade us that Ms Palin is something more than she is and on the other side you have people trying to make out she's something less than she is.

I'll give you this, this really could only happen in America

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

You're sort of right. The one in November is the ONLY important one.

We've got the candidates we've got through our selection process. Voters aren't going to be swayed to vote one candidate over other based on experience, IMO. At this point, it's just silly to quantify just what constitutes as experience versus the next. ..and I practically blew water out of my nose when I saw someone list Dubbya's Air National Guard service as experience....holy cow.
