Hi Ipatie,

Hi Ipatie,

Likewise, I'm in a similar situation too (except at the VSC), with my NOA being in 8/22/08.

I'm still waiting for that biometrics letter, and even though I shouldn't be, I'm concerned too. Especially more so, as where I have to go for the biometrics is somewhat long distance away for me and I have to make arrangements/prepare ahead of time for that...

I guess the only thing one can do is wait, as I don't think that according to their deadlines/standards it is too early. Though if I don't receive it in a couple of months, I'll seriously think about giving the USCIS a call....

Well, on the bright side, having received the NOA, at least you don't have to worry about your conditional green card for another year, and you know that they sent the correspondence to the right address.....

Good luck with your immigration journey. Hope you get your biometrics letter soon.

Hi Ipatie,

yes but is the date of biometrics on css status list the date that actually they had their biometics taken ?

Runaway73,

I sent mine in the second half of August. I have not received the biometrics appointment letter either. My NOA1 date is 2 weeks earlier than yours and I have not received, go figure.

In general, how long after NOA #1 are biometrics appointments scheduled?

Also, how flexible are the dates if a biometrics appointment cannot be attended?

Usually 1 month or so.It might take a little longer.

I am now a US citizen.
