We just got approved yesterday...on our 1st year marriage anniversary.

We have an interview date for Nov. 4th, so looks like I'll have to come to the meet-up solo. :(

I'm bumping this thread again.

Next week on the 10th I'll get a final headcount and I'll start sending out details. It looks very likely it will be at Pizzeria Uno/Due unless there is a massive surge of interest in another restaurant.

Saw this on CNN today about "doing Chicago on the cheap". Looks like some good links and talks about accomodation deals etc. Those of you going to the meet-up might want to view it.

Have a great time!

Is Wabash and Ohio were it is?

Cheryl..yes to the tat,,but not a camel on my toe!

I can't wait to meet you all there!

Jackie (F)

That is roughly the intersection!

Ok everyone, I sent everyone who replied on here (aside from Ms. Jackie as she is an awesome given ;-) just to confirm your date and how many guests are coming. I know some of you may or may not be on here everyday, but if you can reply to me by next Monday night to confirm your presence I would appreciate it.

I'm still working out other details with the Pizzaria, and I'll post as I get more info.

PS: Karima and Zhenia_Brent, for whatever reasons I was unable to contact you via PM. If you see this could you PM me with your confirmation of attendence...and also could you let me know how many guests you plan on bringing. Finally, if you would send me your first names (if they are different from your user name) for name tags I would be much oblieged :-)

There is one about Wells and Hubbard, but they don't have a party room to fit us all.

Anyways, I called Gino's East and they have been extremely helpful. They have party rooms that night available. They aren't far from Uno's either...

Location Map

Here are the party packages...

Gino's Options

I was thinking the Pizza/Pasta Party for $15.95 each...the soft drinks/coffee/pop and cookies are included in this price. I figured if anyone wants to drink alcohol they can purchase it themselves. I would say with gratituity and tax it would come to roughly $20 per person.

I'm going to go ahead and book it...unless there is any opposition!
