All righty then....I'm driving to the high school to pick up the young prince. The road in front of the school is three lane - the middle lane is for turning. As I entered the turning lane to make a left into the high school horseshoe, another woman is coming full throttle down the turning lane. She is in the lane too early - I have already passed the road she would be making her left turn onto. It's now a game of chicken (even though I believe I had the right of way) and I'm not giving.....she's glaring at me and her mouth is flapping as I make my left hand turn. I'm sorry, I know it's immature but I couldn't help myself from gesturing to her that she was #1.

I proceed up the horseshoe and as I look in my rearview mirror I see her making a U-turn in the road. As I pull into a parking space, she careens in beside me and rolls down her passenger window. Even though I can see she is wearing a tank top, has rather broad shoulders, and resembles a pitbull, I ask her if she has a problem. She proceeds to claim that she was 'letting me' turn in front of her, and that if I flip her the bird again, she will break it off for me!

I find this mildly amusing. It occurs to me that she doesn't even know me and I wonder how she intends that we will have another such pleasant encounter wherein she would have the opportunity to teach me a lesson. So, my response to her is - "sure you will".

At that point she throws her car into park, swings the door open, makes MAYBE three strides around the front of her car to my drivers door, and raises her open hand to reach into my window. At which time, I look up at her over my sunglasses and say 'Don't touch me...I work for a lawyer'.

Her nostrils are flaring as she snorts and backs away from the car. "Don't threaten me with your little lawyer story" she says. Her tail between her rather large thighs, she stalks back around into her car, slams the door, and drives off.

All during this, Wes is over in the passenger seat marveling at his first experience with American road rage. Plus, my son, three other band members and the band director are out on the lawn, wondering just what the heck this is all about.

Oh. She drove back around the horseshoe again. I don't know if she had decided her nerve was now as big as her mouth or if she took down my license number. I would love to be the dispatcher when she calls in her story and tells him I "threatened" her with a lawyer after she promised me a whooping.

Mud wrestling at 11 pm. Stay tuned.

Oh I bet she was driving a big A$$ Yukon SUV. Big ego for small brains. I bet she is a soccer mom also

I would of let her hit me. you had lots of witness.

I would of loved to see you slap her silly :lol:

Awesome story! I hate it when people feel because they are bigger they can pick on you. Reminds me of all the big trucks and SUV's that cut the smaller cars off, like mine!

But road rage can be so scary here. I was going through a yellow and some dude wanted to make a left turn. But it was yellow I still legally had the right of way. long story short, he got mad and started to stalk my car. He drives up next to me and a slur of incomprehensible words fly at me.

I'm guessing you just learn to deal with angry people, because you remind me of my husband. He calmly rolls down the window, and i'm clenching the wheel trying not to make eye contact. As I get onto the highway I notice the other car has swerved and isn't following me. I look over at my husband and he's chuckling... my big gulp cola is mysteriously gone.

Now that's some balls-to-the-wall crazy ### legal vehicular homicide in my opinion.....

Gee....I wish you had been driving when my crazy woman pulled that little stunt......

Heh heh my sweetheart will tell you that London drivers got nothing on me (as far as road rage). :lol:

A tip for road rage... don't get out of the car!

A guy here in New York had a guy beat on his car with a bat in a road rage incident. The guy got out of his car and managed to take away the bat and beat the guy with it. They arrested everyone for road rage!! Including the passenger in the victims car. Because the passenger got out and 'elevated' the situation. You really have the fight the urge to get out and defend yourself.

Yup, driving around London has to be done with a mercenary attitude. :lol: Thank heavens for central locking.

....and as for my sweet likkle punkin,........ OMG you should hear the foul atrocities pouring from her delicate little mouth when someone cuts her up on the road. It's enough to make a merchant seaman blush!!!!

OMG :lol: He would totally sell tons of books! :blush: Hey I can't help it that everyone on the road (but me) is an idiot! :P

Erm I believe I won the rematch, but only cos of a turn of horrible tiles dealt to my sweetheart. That, and the fact that I KICK BUTT!!! :lol:;)
