My two do this all the time -- one decides it's playtime, whether or not the other is prepared. The big fat boy is the dominant one, and he tells her who is boss from time to time. They have never once hurt each other, but they do swat at each other, chase each other, and even sit on each other biting and swatting each other. But then, as you see in my sig picture, they are buddies too. Let them work it out, and only intervene if someone is screaming bloody murder (it's normal for them to make sounds in play or hierarchy) or they go for the throat. They HAVE to figure out the hierarchy, and the youngest will be at the bottom. It's normal for cats. Once they figure out who's boss, they'll buddy up just fine.

Oh, and you should intervene if the big one is trying to steal the kitten food... unless you want one really fat older cat. :D

Cats are useless. Feed them to a dog.

good point

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Anyways, this is what cats, namely kittens, do to each other. It is likely some show of domination, but predictably the cat who wins just about every time is the bigger one, and he gets to beat up on the smaller one until the smaller one can dish it back.

My feet are smaller than my cat, so therefore she tries to dominate my feet. I don't find it amusing when there are claws in my feet, lol, but I teach her who is boss. I have water guns stationed throughout the house just for this purpose!

When the cat gets close to you feet, kick it across the room. I bet after you do that a few times, the cat will get the idea.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

Not to mention the "child support" payments.

Perhaps I should try it on a cat hater first and see if that works

kickiing a cat across the room? oh gosh! what else is next? kicking or beating someone who is slow and in your way? I found your cat comment sick and twisted! even if you were joking... which I doubt it... that was mean!
