Biometrics!!!! :)

Hi everybody!!!! I filled AOS (with AED and AP) on 18th, NOA received on 22nd and already have my biometrics appointment for next thursday 11th sept. in san antonio!!!! I am very happy!!!! thanks to everybody, this page and the people participating are great!!!!!!

i have 2 little questions.

1. as soon as i already received my biometrics appointment, does it means i dont have any RFI????

2. i only received 1 biometric app. letter; this will work for AOS and EAD ????? this two require biometrics......

well looks like the waiting time started..... good luck to everybody!!!!

It doesn't mean you don't have any RFI until they begin processing your papers.

Hi there. SOme case had RFE's before biometrics or after biometrics so its case to case basis. YOu can look at your biometrics appointment again and it will show there if its only for I-485 or I-765 or both with receipt number respectively.

1) Receipt of NOA1 and biometrics letter means nothing as it relates to any potentially RFE....

2) If you have both case numbers for your EAD and AOS... bring both NOA1's with you to the biometrics appointment, so they can record it to both applications... if you do not you might be asked to make a second trip.....

hello!

i had my BIO today...from what i've read here, we can get RFI at any moment of the process.

as for your second question, look at your appointment letter, at the left top angle, under ASC APPOINTMENT NOTICE line, you will see what application it's for. Mine said both I-485 and I-765...

i had an RFE a few days after i took my Biometrics and that was surprising to me , and i think other members here had ther same story. so, you can expect RFEs anytime.but just hopefully, you won't get any.there is only one biomertics letter for the 2 applications.good luck!
