Kiwi...I think if the case is transferred to CSC, you most probably won't get interviewed to get your conditional GC.

Has anyone who's case was transfered to CSC been touched after being transfered? Other then EAD

Not me, but then I've never had any touches this whole time...

The last notice I got from them on my AOS said that it "was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office." (CSC) I have to say I wasn't happy about the "standard processing" but I'm glad to see that interviews are coming through for people, it gives me a little hope. I'm just scared that I might get an interview for while we're away now (we're gone for a month) but I guess there's not much for it!

Thanks. We totally did not expect an interview in Feb. I thought L.A. office takes much longer....

It was a good move that we made a bank account and some other accounts joint ahead of time.

I am making a list of what to bring to the interview right now. It seems that we can sort those docs out without a struggle.

I will bring extra docs just in case though.

Oh, yea! It is all about job efficiency in Japan.

For my K1, it took less than a month for them to approve my visa since they received my petition from NVC.

They take customer service very seriously (almost too serious though...lol).

If we were in Japan, they would really precisely issue EAD and AP in order received.

I also miss the efficiency there...

Oooops... It is Saturday...

Damn, I need to start working so that I get sense of date back...

*Visa (attached to the passport)

*Original Marriage Certificate

*Interview Letter from USCIS

*Any other letters received from USCIS including letters for K1 case

*EAD and AP if already received

*2007 Federal Tax Return

*2007 Federal Tax Transcript

*2007 W2 and/or any other tax related forms issued

*2008 Federal Tax Return (if filed on time)

*2008 W2 and/or any other tax related forms issued

*My husband's employment letter

*My employment letter (if I find a job on time)

*My husband's pay stubs from the most recent three months (Though it says two months on the letter, I will bring them for an extra month.)

*My pay stubs (if I find a job on time)

*Docs on the joint lease of the apartment

*Bank statements (joint: showing both of our names)

*Electric Bills (joint)

*Cell phone Bills (joint)

*Credit card letter & bills (joint)

*Auto insurance (joint)

*Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (I am a dependent.)

*Wedding photo album

*Other photos where two of us are photographed with our family members and friends

*Cards and letters sent to both of us at the current address

*Letters sent to each of us to the current address

*Letters from witness and parents verifying our marriage

Hi!

A quick question. I received today the notice saying my EAD had been approved and that they will soon mailed my EAD card.

However, they mispelled my first name on the notice. So far all the other docs received didn't have any mistake! Do you think I should call them to make sure they will issue the EAD card in the rigth name??

Yes it does!!

Reminds me of a museum trip we made about a month ago. They had an exhibit on immigrants to West Michigan, and there was a glass case that had an EAD card. It was so hard to not break the glass, grab it, and run!!

I keep looking at the card and thinking of that line from LOTR, "It is a strange fate that we should suffer so much fear and doubt over so small a thing. Such a little thing." To borrow Envy's analogy

Hi all September Filers,

It's been a while I didn't check this site coz I went on vacation with my husband during Xmas!!! And we have been busy during New Year's Eve and New Year's Day too~~

I want to share this happy moments with all of you and I hope this can cheer all of you up a bit.......When I got home on 12/27/08, my Green Card was sitting inside the mailbox already!!! Yahoo~~~~

Thank you everyone for helping me in the past few months! Of course I will still stay around here and help to answer some questions too~~just have confidence and everything will go smooth~~ I can't believe I got everything done in 4 months! You can be next too!!!!!

I would not leave it blank.

If there is enough space, I would mention "my I-485(application to adjust status to permanent resident) is pending at this point" or something like that.
