Hey Karri I've got my fingers crossed for you...hopefully you'll hear soon.

Thank you! I need all the luck I can get right now. It's so hard to plan the wedding when we don't have a date yet. I am starting to check VJ and the USCIS a lot more now that the noa2 is around the corner possibly. I just wish CSC picked up the pace again. I think they are sleeping or resting at home this week haha.

Where's dilbert? He's been quiet.

Karri,

You seem so optimistic! It's great...I read your posts and now I'm starting to get my hopes up! I just feel like because our(my fiance and I) case is for Ukraine it'll take us longer to get the NOA2. The Ukraine NOA2s seem to take awhile longer (like 160 days) compared to these couples getting o'k 115 days in. I guess we just have to hope for the best. Have a Happy New Year!

hehe. Thank you, I don't think anyone's said I've been optimistic before. =) The way I see it is Sam and I are meant to be together so everything will fall in to place when the time is right. =) Also, it's important to have a back up plan (which I have) in case something goes wrong and the K-1 is denied. My motto, never give up, never surrender. ;)

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention earlier. I've started reading the first book of the Twilight series tonight and it is good so far. ;) I like easy reads and cheesy romances. My last book took a few months to finish. It was 1000+ pages but I enjoyed it. Any Ken Follett fans in the house?

Hi Karri and others - How are you? I have been on vacation. Happy new year to all of you. Still, checking these forums!! Had some family visit me for Christmas...Have been talking with my fiancee on the phone quite a bit...Nothing new there...

What else is going on with you guys. Some thing tells me that we will get our NOA2 within 2 weeks - 1st couple of weeks of January. I am just looking to consolidate the rest of the paper work.

Shall we start thinking about the paper work that we need to from our end. I think the only thing we will need to do is get I 134 completed right and then notarized? Is there anything else that we will need to do from our end.

1) I 134 - (bank statement, pay stubs, tax returns)

From the beneficiary's end:

1. Birth certificate

2. PCC - Local police station as well as passport office

3. High school. college, grad school diplomas

4. DS230, DS156 and DS156K - practice filling these forms

5. Additional profs- print out Skype calls, telephone calls, boarding pass of meeting, stay together (if that happened), emails, greeting cards.

6. Anything else??

Thanks guys!! Let's hope to get approved soon.

Have you read the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne?? Interesting read...

Hey guys,

yeah they definitely haven't been processing any NOA2s, but i guess they deserve a holiday too, right?? :)

sounds like you're on top of things dilbert...off the top of my head i can't think of anything we need. you know what makes me nervous? they're starting to process all the ds-156 forms electronically! i'm going to do all that paperwork and i'm hesistant to start on it. i wish they'd just announce when each embassy will be switching over to electronic filing!

let's hope this upcoming week will bring us a few surprises! :)

I've haven't done as much research on the next steps as I should have yet but I do know the general things I need to fill out for the Affidavit of support. Dilbert, fyi, there is a new edition of the form that no longer requires the notarization, interesting huh? Also, I've been snooping around in the August forum and they got some good tips on how to track your case once it leaves the NVC on the DHL website.

Goodnight everyone, I'm pooped.

Since I got my NOA2 I have started putting together all the information for packet 3. I think I have most of it done, and today finished up the pictures portion, I created a PDF file with about 6 pages with 5 to 6 photos per page, so a total of 33 pictures. About a third of them are her and I with her family, and the rest are just us together. I was just curious how many photos everyone thought was enough?

Amy, glad your trip to Cancun was good. Nice to know this should be the last time we have to say goodbye to our SO's huh?

No such luck for a few days rest, I start back to work tomorrow. The Airline lost ALL of our luggage - I think it made it to Memphis, but never got on the plane to Detroit.

But When I arrived at my house (about 1/2 hour ago), I found I had Letter from NVC saying they finished processing and sent the stuff to the consulate in Tokyo :dance::dance: - it was supposed to be Osaka, but oh well, who cares. It is moving so I am happy :innocent: .

Has anyone else received their hard copy NOA2 or NVC letter yet? I am a little concerned because I realized that I didnt send in Visa photos for Graces Daughter or G-325A form. But she was listed on the I-129F. All the approval notice just says for Grace, nothing else. Is this normal?
