When I first started looking at VJ, the date as Jan 21 to Feb 2nd I think. I was kind of counting on that date. But with others getting done faster, maybe you will be ahead of that schedule also.

August started moving fast. Hopefully, they will finish up soon and more Sept filers will get approved before the end of the year. I hope you are all among them in the next couple of weeks. Makes you antsy when others are getting approved but nothing happening, but I think it was the same for july when August started going and still for August when Sept started going. Just give it a few more weeks. Happy holidays to all.

The only thing I can think of that they need is "proof of employment" or my statement of military service. There cannot be any "met in person" evidence needed. When you send 8 pages of photos plus phone bills on top of that, it should be good evidence.

I really hope I can contact someone tonight (time conversion) there and see what the hello they need. I really don't know...ruined holidays.

I wish everyone else the best of luck.

Try the national call center. It is generally worthless, but you never know, it is Christmas and they may be able to help you out. They do have access to any comments written in your file on the system.

Make sure they tell you everything though. First time I got them to tell me info, they left off the small detail of who to send to to. That wasted a few more days.

They rerouted him to Dulles, Washington, DC...where he is currently sitting and awaiting standby for Halifax since late last night. It's suppose to depart a little over an hour from now. Hopefully there will be a seat for him, otherwise he has to wait till Christmas morning. I WANT MY SWEETIE..and he's so close! Say a prayer guys maybe that will help us! I really hope he makes it out as planned. I am happy for you to be able to spend Christmas with him.

I leave on the 26th to the Philippines. I get to meet up with Grace in Nagoya Japan before our last flight to Manilla. I cant wait to see her, but if I get a weather delay or cancellation, I am really going to be upset.

Good luck and Merry Christmas

I was thinking. Shouldnt be your proof of employment. That should only be required for I-134 Affidavit of Support. I think you only needed to show where you worked on the G-325A. So maybe something else. Could be Evidence. I know you mentioned pictures, and phone records, but the pictures arent necessrily proof of meeting in the last two years. Any other evidence like airline reciepts or hotel receipts or anything? Could also be something silly like needed something notarized or signed that was missed.

The good news is they are looking at it - about a month a head of schedule. So even with RFE, you can probably get approval by mid Jan at the latest.

AMY, Merry Christmas - have a safe trip and have fun in Cancun. The best part is when you come back this time, the waiting will only be a couple of months before you are together forever.

I'm glad your getting to see your sweetie as well. About 10 minutes after I posted this he called and said that they have him on standby for a flight out of Washington to Nova Scotia, then seconds later they were paging him to board. Little over a two hour flight, and a two hour drive for me to get to the airport. We just got back here. My honey is here with me!!! He's exhausted and went right to bed, but that's ok....I have almost two weeks with him. Merry Christmas everyone. Safe travel to the Philippines for your as well. Take care. :innocent:

I got my RFE in the mail on the 27th. It asked for more evidence of meeting within 2 years, circumstance of meeting, and my birth certificate must have been too old for them to read it. I got the I-797E in within 4 days of the RFE notice on USCIS...which was pretty quick. I'll send it off this monday and hopefully should get a decision on the case NLT 22nd on January. I should have word after a few weeks of them recieving it about my case.

Well my sweetie arrived December 24th at noon...he was suppose to be here on the 23rd but he made it and that's all that matters. United Airlines lost his luggage though...so we've been spending time on the phone trying to track it down, no luck yet. Good thing it was Christmas and there was presents under the tree for him! The clothing I got him is managing to hold him over...and I had bought him a new electric shaver for Ho HO! So, all in all....its not the worst that could happen. Although he's upset because he had things for me in his bag. I told him having him with me for Christmas meant more. Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays......2009 here we come!

Awwww that is the sweetest thing. =) Well I've been productive during the holidays. I've started to plan our wedding! At least as much as we can before we can finalize our wedding date. ;) Also, I dreamed I got a touch on our case a few days ago lol. I think I've been spending too much time on VJ. I hope the NOA2 is around the corner in 3 weeks or less! I can dream, right?

Hey Karri I've got my fingers crossed for you...hopefully you'll hear soon. We were talking last night about wedding plans and checking things out on the internet. He wants the Vegas - DRIVE THRU wedding.! Oh well, it really doesn't matter to me, as long as I get to have my dress and he's in a tux, marrying him is what the most important thing is. He bought us a house just before we started the K-1 process, it needs some work and me being the interior decorator

......money on a wedding isn't what I see...I see a new kitchen...a new bathroom...new windows.....oh and a leather sofa set...a fireplace...and.. and..lol! Best of luck with the wedding planning.

Congratulations!
