I forgot about that game lol been trying to get some sleep as I bloody work nights.

A good week for 4 of our merry throng, with said number all scoring in the twenties (me and the pookster being this week's lightweights). Kudos to rkl for an impressive 27.

With only a couple of weeks left, it's looking good for yours truly at the top, but with Pooky in a bit of a freefall, I reckon second is up for grabs right about now. And our mate rkl sooooooooooooooo doesn't want that wooden spoon!

Does the author not have a point, PP? He's simply saying that compared to Inter, AC, Barca et al, Everton are small fry. And even the the most ardent blue-nose would struggle to argue with that, surely?

I mean, I'd liken the situation to somebody saying, "compared to Everton, Villa, Spurs, and Newcastle, Southampton are small fry." I don't think I could disagree, tbf.

So are you saying Villa is a bigger club then Everton? Everton are the 4th most sucessful club in England when you look at the stats.

I think it was a terrible article.

So are you saying Villa is a bigger club then Everton?

No, I'm saying Villa are a club of similar size to Everton. As are Spurs and Newcastle. And all aforementioned clubs are bigger than Southampton. My fault - the sentence is poorly punctuated.

Do you understand now?
