Indian/Bollywood dance from my wedding reception

I have been wanting to get this video online for a couple years. It's from our wedding almost 4 years ago! I stole dance moves from the movie this song is from and other sources and choreographed this dance. My bridesmaids were kind enough to attempt an Indian dance at the reception so people would feel even more Indian atmosphere and it made it really fun. My sister and cousin in the front were better at the dance and remembered it better. In the back, one who messes up(please excuse it ) lives out of state and did her best to learn it in one day so she didn't get as much time. She still did great.

It was a really fun part of the reception and was meant as celebration, not as a technically perfect dance. Everyone loved it.

I wanted to share because I know some people would want to see it and instead of sending a bunch of PMs I decided to post it here.

The quality isn't so great because I recorded it onto our digital cam off of the TV screen. You'll have to turn it loud to hear the music better, sorry!

That was fantastic! They did a beautiful job. The woman in red in front was my favorite- the dance seemed very natural to her and she flowed through it.

What's funny at the beginning is my cousin's daughter crying "mommy mommy I want my mommy". awww.

Very nice, Stina! I was waiting for one of them to break out in song....lol.

...BTW, I decided to watch a movie that somehow made it on my Netflix queue, a Bollywood film, Dhoom 2. It was one of the more contemporary ones where the dancing looks more like a Michael Jackson video...it was horrible. I like the more traditional dancing.

I also like the more traditional looking dancing in a bollywood movie. It really gets on my nerves if every other scene is in a "club" and they are trying to dance like NSYNC. I like the ethnic dancing better.

I had been watching this on the laptop with the smaller screen and it looked clearer smaller. Now on my bigger monitor it looks more fuzzy unless I pick "original size". So if anyone had that problem, make sure it's on original size under the Google video tab.
