Hi,

I am starting the AOS process and I am a bit confused. I am on a K-1 visa, and I'm filing for the adjustment of status, advanced parole, and employment authorization all at once in the same package. I noticed that for the AP and EAD you need to submit a copy of your I94 and for the AOS and AP you need a copy of your passport page and NOA2. I was wondering, in the guide here on visa journey it says "4. copy of the non US citizen spouses passport (bio page and entry stamps)" and "5. NOA2" "6. copy f the non us citizen spouses valid i-94"

Does that mean I only need to submit 1 copy of each of those? or do I need to put in more than one copy (as required) for each form? (the guide also says include any additional documentation and photos, thats why I ask) I had asked before about the photos and someone mentioned I needed 6 photos if i was submitting all three forms.

If anyone can let me know how this works, I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

I dont think you need to now, if you combine everything. We certainly didn't and never received any RFE's. When we went to our interview everything was all in one file.

Then you got really lucky and did not follow the directions on the forms. Each application is separate regardless if it falls under one fee.

OP - Treat the forms as individuals and submit everything the individual forms ask for.

I am currently freaking out as I realize that we did NOT treat the forms separately and sent only one copy of all supporting evidence (NOA2, I-94, passport, etc). I am wondering if anyone else had experiences like Marcus and Laura. Did you guys make a conscious decision to send in everything all together because you had seen it work for other people?

Do you think we would be receiving an RFE or be denied for not sending everything in three times?

You may receive an RFE for the missing documents depending upon which application they attached the document you did send. The EAD and AP are processed in a different location than the AOS. Wait until you receive an RFE, however, before you worry too much. If you do get one, then just send back the requested documents along with the letter they send asking for them (make a copy of the letter for your records, though). If the AOS is processed quickly enough you may find that the EAD and AP are redundant and you won't need them.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Thanks for all the responses, i was a bit confused at first with the first two posts being opposite, so I'm glad there was more clarification. I made more copies of everything so, now I can treat each form separately.

Thanks!
