i dont understand this...how can they say that its in normal processing when their website clearly mentions a date in september...dont buy their BS...u need to be firm and DEMAND to speak with a supervisor...like i said before they 0 excuses now...ur file deserves processing over any of us coz uve waited the most..if they dont give u a clear answer go to ur congressman or senator...but i dont think ull really need that...if u talk to them firmly, ur case will be addressed.

I dont know about memyselfandi, but i am the most unlucky person, so I will bend over and take it from USCIS. I think my lawyer had initially sent sent my case to chicago, but it was transferred from chicago to vermont. 7 more applications were in the same envalope he sent to chicago, but all 7 others got their NAO1 one month ahead of me. talk about adding insult to injury. May be my application is still in transit to chicago....I give up.

I'm surprised you weren't transferred to CSC, anyhow they consider the normal processing time to be what is posted on their website plus 30 days. So as of today, since they haven't updated the processing dates yet, any petition received on or after August 03, 2007 is still within the "normal" processing times. This because they are supposedly working on petitions from September 03, 2007, then they give themselves 30 days so that takes you back to August.

They should be updating with new dates soon. When they do update, you will probably be outside the processing timelines. Once that happens, and you call USCIS back, they will file a service request and send you a response with the status of your case. You can also contact your representative or senator to have them inquire about your case. They typically get a faster response than you would. Some of the representatives are better at helping than others. If one of them doesn't seem to be helping, try contacting the other. Don't get discouraged!

You can find you your representative is by putting your zip code in this page:

http://www.house.gov/zip/ZIP2Rep.html

Your senator:

http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_info...enators_cfm.cfm

Once you have determined who these people are, check out their webpage. Look for a link that's called "Constituent Services". They usually have forms and instructions on how to get them to help you out.

Best of luck!
