Can I request Expidited Service for the K3?

I filed my 130-129 around 5/30/08, we got our NOA'S for both, but no updates yet. I see people who filed around the similar times with approvals. This is worrying me. We did hire a lawyer. Me and my husband are expecting our first child next month, so I really need him here so I can start working after she is born. So financially it is putting a damper on things without him here and me not being able to work. (Yes we have a co-sponsor for him). So is it possible in this situation to request that my lawyer request expedited service? Or can I request that myself?

I am not certain that will be a reason for USCIS to expedite but I wouldn't know for sure. Good luck, i think you should be up for NAO2 soon.. we just got approved 12 days ago and we were just a week before you. Congrats on your upcoming arrival and good luck.

Another thing, has anyone had any Issues with the USCIS website today? It asked me to update my password, that it will expire. Does that happen normally every so often? I check it daily and never had that issue before..

You have to renew your password every 90 days with USCIS.

I know this answer will be to a big dissapointment to both you and your husband, but NO. You can go ahead and call to expedite your case but thats not a reason good enaugh for them. I am due with our first baby in 13days and they didnt do anything about it. I even called the embassy in the country my husband is from so they an consider giving himm a visitor visa so he can atleast be here when I am in labor but nothing. I wish you all the luck to you

your husband and your newborn and hopefully it wont take much longer.

even if u ask them to expidite ur case im sure a lot of others did the same so ur not the only one who asked for that service it wouldn't mean they would do ur case first either...we can't do anything about it it's not in our hands...all u can do is wait....goodluck though! ;)

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......

They will not expidite due to pregnacy or birth or bc the process is putting a financial damper on ppl.
