Different Names on Airplane Ticket vs. Visa

I just bought my fiancee and her daughter the airplane tickets for them to come to the US in October yesterday. I used the exact spelling of the daughter's name as I filed it on the Visa paper work (G325, I129F, etc.). Last night, I emailed my fiancee the email confirmation of the tickets and asked her to look at the names. Sure enough, the Embassy spelled her daughter's name different on the official K-1 Visa different than what was in the Visa paperwork (Ticket name / K-1 paperwork = Camilla , Actual K-1 Visa = Kamilla).

Will I have to change the airplane ticket to match the name on the Visa?

On the bright side, better to find this out now rather than when they are in the airport.

Thanks All

One letter off on the first name should not make a difference. As long as the Family name matches, you will be fine. As for the ticket, they will still look at the spelling in the passport as well, and her photo is on the Visa.

Don't worry, you will be fine!

You'll be fine. When we went to the embassy to pick up my husband's visa, there were a couple of people who had this happen. They immediately went back in and the embassy said that they were going to be fine.

It doesn't sound like it's going to be a problem, but you could call the airline and ask them to be sure.
