I just read this on the USCIS news page.

"USCIS moves into 2009 with a more aggressive agenda to improve its services to customers. The agency has awarded the Transformation Solution Architect task order to IBM, a five-year investment to improve its filing and adjudication systems. The task order is just one of the building blocks of USCIS’ overall transformation plan made possible through last year’s implementation of a new fee structure."

Finally they are taking the steps to enter into the information technology era!

Petitioners after us will probably have the benefits of knowing each processing step in regards to their petitions.

No more boxes of petitions with no structured processing in place.

They will never know what it feels like to wait months/years with no information of what is going on with such an important life event.

Its about time USCIS!

My IT Career started with IBM, I worked for them for 6 years. It's about time they appointed the big hardware giant to take care of this!

But anyways wheres my NOA2? hahahaha

Oh my god I didnt even notice until today but I've actually hit the 90 day mark already on my NOA1? What the heck? I can still remember the day I signed all the forms infront of my lawyer at a local Starbucks. Seems just like yesterday.

49 days till I see my SO and today I am havng one of those feeling alone days, where all I need and want is a hug from your one and only, oh what I wouldnt give for a minute of that.

I'm hurting at this moment, it hurts tyoing this but it's the only way to ge tthe stress out, it's getting to me, why only this day? why today, but i know I have to be strong as the rewards of my patience will soon payoff, for my soulmate and my kiddos and for myself as well.

Fred I feel like caving in again. I know how you feel right now. I just want to feel his arms around me. Why do we have to deal with all these ####### when all we want to ever have is be happily married to our SOs.

All I can say is that this is the ultimate test! We have to be strong...Looking at our timelines and how long we had our NOA1's are a good indication of how close we really are. Look at my story, 14 years it took for us to realize we were made for each other, if I can live through that you certainly can make it in 6 to 8 months no problem!

WE WILL ALL MAKE IT! - I am looking forward to us congratulating each other in this very forum for our NOA2's very soon.

I agree, Chris and I admitted how we felt and then waited nearly 10months to actually meet each other in the flesh, but it feels so much harder this time....

I think that when we are all settled in the US we should try and have a August meet up somewhere nice, just to be able to share our stories and exeriences and give all us friends that we can say actually live in the states and aren't related to us in the first 12 months.

Wow already!!! Time sure does fly!!! Before you know it your NOA2 has arrived! 49 days to go then you'll get that hug!! For me - 10 days!! dont worry!! just keep yourself busy...Pull yourself together Fred - you're usually good at this....just think that its only NOW...you will see each other soon and be together on a permanent basis not long after....

Tell me about it!! I remember counting down from 6 weeks and it feels as if it was only a couple of weeks ago....SO comes down here in March for a couple of months so Im looking forward to that one too..
