Calling all Wii Fit users

I have been stalking this game on Ebay, for weeks. I can't seem to find it in the store. The game and balance board, are a little pricey.

Anybody have it?

Any reviews?

Is it worth the money?

I wish I would have asked before I wasted money on boxing gloves for Wii Sport... and I hate them .

I was sore the next day, lol. Just from doing the ski and balance games and hula-hooping. I didn't try any strength training or aerobics b/c I was in normal clothes at their house not in something I want to get really sweaty in. But still the sides of my thighs were sore from doing the hula hoops and skiing. I managed to do 30mins worth of stuff at their house. It keeps a "bank" of minutes for each thing you do and tells you when you accomplished 30mins worth.

The part that I didn't like for silly reasons was it weighs you and tells you your BMI. I didn't want my friends seeing all that so they left the room and I put a password on my info. And then it morphs your Wii character according to your weight. I already have a Wii character there from playing other Wii games at their house. We don't have any video game stuff at our house but one day I might want to have this.

I've had one since the week of release. I found it just sitting there at ShopKo waiting for me to buy it.

The exercise is as much as you put into it. There's plenty in there that doesn't burn calories or build muscle, so you have to still make a conscious effort to pick the ones that make you sweat and increase your reps if you want to see progress. But it does motivate me to do it longer and more frequently, and there's plenty of fun to be had.

I'd recommend it overall, and I definitely think it was worth the money.

Girl.. i have never played the boxing perse, but I love watching my 7 yr old play.. I have to hold her back so she don't knock the TV down LOL its HILARIOUS!!!

While I haven't used Wii Fit myself, I know some other people who have and it's a fun game, but in all honesty, that's all it really is -- a game, which involves the possibility of shedding a few excess pounds. Despite what the media might be saying, the Wii Fit does not and cannot replace old-fashioned exercise.

Having said that, if you absolutely hate going to the gym or have no room for any equipment at home (or just plain lack the time to exercise on your own), then the Wii Fit may come in handy. After all, any exercise is better than none. Just don't expect miracles with it, since it's an entertainment device first and foremost.

I don't have it either but from what I saw, you can get a lot of good exercise with it. There is a stepping part, which does start out slow but I think you can make it a lot harder and that would be a workout definitely. You control how much you want to exercise, and the time seems to go by fast since it's fun. It even has running on it.

I don't do the running or the stepping - they're both boring and too easy. The hula hoop is actually better exercise IMO. I also like the rhythm boxing. Bam BAM get out your aggression to the beat. I still usually get my aerobics elsewhere (like DDR... can you see the geek in me yet?).
