Take a deep breath and realize that everything will be ok. No one wants an RFE, but it's only a hiccup. The RFE should state specifically what it is they want to see, and is probably just something your fiancee overlooked when preparing the package. Have him follow the instructions completely, and your petition will be back on track in no time.

Fist off, fill in your timeline, that might help people answer. You can go to this web site: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp with your wac number and look at ur status online. To get better help we need to know more information. Like is it for a I-130 or I-129f? We need details in order to help.

I don't see where a timeline or more details will help answer this question.

1. An RFE is not a denial. They want documentation/evidence they do not currently have before they can continue to process the petition.

2. The RFE notice will explain exactly what needs to be sent and instructions for sending it.

3. The RFE notice will tell how long you have to submit the additional evidence. (Quicker is better)

Once you have satisfied the RFE, the will resume processing the petition.

Im sorry you got an RFE, I too got one on my I-129f for my K3 and it was because I sent my english translated marriage license and not the one in arabic to go with it. Once I sent that back in about a week i got approved. So its probably something simple that was overlooked. Just wait to see what they need and give them exactly what they ask for. Everything should be ok.Good luck.

CSC is WAC, this number will be on the NOA1 letter, as well as on the RFE letter.

If case were at Vermont, then case number will start with EAC.

The E and W in case number mean East or West, California is West, and Vermont is East.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Well it does help considering they posted in a K3 forum and not a K1 forum...We could direct them to the proper forum!
