Well, now I definitely know it's jealousy, since the girl in my gym is like my age and I find it much less amusing. Well, maybe she's a stripper? There, I feel better.

I'm not a stripper and I do stretches like that. You just need to stretch more and get your muscles to be long and lean

Some things I've noticed at every gym I've used...

There's always this one guy, usually middle aged, who's got this dead serious look on his face. He'll start walking in a straight path and will not yield or move out of the way of anyone else. It's like a game of dare...and especially if he has headphones on. I'll try to guess where he's going and just stay out of his way.

Also, every so often they'll be 2 or 3 guys working out where at least one of 'em is yacking away nonstop...and it's annoying as hell. I want to tell him to STFU.

The guys that bang their weights on the ground and grunt - most gyms are onto that gig and they can't get away with it anymore. There are signs in most gyms that say grunting and dropping weights is not permitted.

All the above is why I no longer waste my time, money or patience at the gym. Bought a kettlebell get a workout better than at the gym. No wasted dues, No wasted time in travel or waiting for a machine. And no wasted emotions being frustrated.

oh, the wonders of an army gym. No slutty outfits, no obvious stares, total respect, no sweatty benches, hundreds of equipment where it's really difficult for you to have to wait.

There is only a couple of grunters, but I can't hear them since I have my iPod on at all times, I just know there are 2 of them cuz I worked there for a few weeks.

Now for the locker room's nudity, well, it definitely doesn't bother me

As the wife of a trainer, I HATE the girls who feel the need to wear too short of shorts, too low cut tops and no bras. He has one client who refuses to buy a sports bra, wears low cut tops and insists they stop every 5 mins to put things back in place. Stupid sluts...

Ummmmm.... men that wear too short of shorts is gross too. We were at Bally's and this man had to be 50ish with shorts up to his buttcheeks. He was doing leg presses and I swear everytime he brought his legs up I could see his "stuff". I didn't mean to look, but I was kind of in shock and repulsed at the same time time.
