staple or paper clip?

I seem to remember vaguely that we're supposed to use paper clips to combine related/continuous pages. Is it still how we're supposed to do with I-751?

Thanks!

More or less:-). What I did is if there were two pages to the same document, I stapled those together at the top left corner that wouldn't interfere with turning pages. You can then use paper clips or binder clips to clip together related documents. I originally tried it with using paperclips but the resulting product was so bulky that the left hand side was an inch bigger than the right hand side! I ended up 2 hole punching everything and putting it all into an ACCO fastener with the relevant items stapled together.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I used one of those large ACCO fasteners to hold it all together. The USCIS uses top two hole punches to keep their files together, but I would let them punch the holes. If there were documents that encompassed several pages, I stapled those together so that it was one document. Whenever possible I made sure each page was listed with my wife's name to insure it stayed together. Imagine what would happen if two or three case files were to be dropped on the floor with the pages scattering all over. You certainly want them to find all of your pieces.

You are definitely a "HappyGuy" if you think they would go to that sort of effort!!!

I think what happens after they drop the files on the floor, they throw what fell, and issue a RFE!!!

This is my favorite question to answer because USCIS does it for me:

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Follow these guidelines from their site and you will put the officer reviewing your file in a much better mood, hopefully putting a smile on their face while they review it.

I've worked with the government (as one of our customers) for years and can tell you that submitting stuff the way they want to see it definitely helps expedite what you've submitted. I know lots of people on here don't read this guide and don't prepare their package this way and get approved anyway, but it doesn't hurt to give them what they want.

You know what, that makes perfect sense. Especially when the person getting RFEd sent everything including the kitchen sink. I guess their kitchen sink ended up in somebody else's kitchen in that case.
