My heart is breaking from grief as I type this. Our Dawn (dawnhatem) was killed this morning in a car accident.

There is a story on the Chicago Tribune's website. I have no words to say right now I can only cry and wish she was still here. Kelly and Sofyan will tell us when the wake and funeral are. If anyone would like to help me send a bouquet of flowers, let me know and we can sign it from her VJ family.

I don't think Hatem will ever see this thread of condolences, but I just want him and his family to know that we care.

greiving,

Jackie (F)

As I sit here with tears streaming down my face, I think of the many many conversations Dawn and I had together. She Is going to be very much missed but never forgotten.

Dawn, I miss you already :crying:

I will contribute to the boquet.

Oh my Lord no! This is breaking my heart . Im stunned.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I just read the article. I hope she at least went quickly and painlessly. I pray Hatem will soon recover fully.
