How long to cash the check?

Hello,

I was wondering how long it took your $545 check to be cashed...my previous experience has been that they cashed it immediately, and having looked at several signatures, I noticed it still seems to be done that way.

My package was received a week ago at VSC and the check still hasn't been cashed. I'm hoping nothing is wrong with my package and it is on its way back to me... :unsure:

I sent my wife's and daughter's petition to VSC on 5/23, recieved 5/24. 2 weeks gone and no check cashed. How long to hear something from VSC?

I-751, Removal of Conditions

5/23/2008 - Sent to VSC, we're off!

5/24/2008 - Petition received at VSC

I thought it was me. I sent my package with my I-751 on May 12, they received it two days later and it was cashed on 6/5. Posted to my bank account today. I am still going to call tomorrow since my 30 days are up and I still haven't received any letter or NOA.

Married: October 24, 2005

AOS/EAD:

03/08/2006: Sent in the mail.

03/18/2006: NOA1

03/24/2006: Received appoitment for Biometrics

04/09/2006: Went for Biometrics.

05/08/2006: Received letter with appointment for interview.

05/30/2006: Received EAD card (finally could work).

06/18/2006: Interview and passport stamped APPROVED!

End of June: Received Green Card.

05/20/2007: Divorced!!!!!!! but in a lot of debt.

Removal of conditional

05/12/2008: Sent I-751.

05/14/2008: Received at the VSC.

06/05/2008: Check cashed.

06/11/2008: Received NOA1. Extension for a year.

06/17/2008: Received letter for Biometrics for 7/1/08.

07/10/2009: Received email: Case Status: Card Production Ordered

Two more years for citizenship!

Application for Naturalization

04/05/2011: Sent N-400

04/20/2011: Received NOA

04/22/2011: Received appoinment for fingerprints

05/16/2011: Fingerprints done, studying for test

Vermont received my package on June 4 and my check was posted on the 10th.

Now the waiting begins.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Yes, I'm hoping they cash mine soon!! Antsy that there's something wrong otherwise, and they're going to send the package back :P

I hope I get the NOA as soon as you did - you are closer to Vermont than me, so hopefully it should just be similar to your timeline, with a couple of days added for mailing to TX...

Yes, I hope yours comes soon too. Generally, I think as soon as the check is cashed, the NOA will follow on soon from that.

Hi everyone,

Vermont received my package on May 27, and my check hasn't been cashed yet. It has been more than 3 weeks, and I am getting very nervous. My temporary green card will expire on June 28.

Could anyone please advise me on what I can do? What might have gone wrong? Is there any number that I can call? Thank you very much!
