Camping around Los Angeles

I am wondering if anybody knows of a good campground around LA...

it needs to have flush toilets and showers... oh and one where all the campsites aren't cramped together...

we are thinking of trying out Lake Jennings.... that is close to San Diego... it looks nice...

We have been to Burnt Rancheria campground in the Cleveland National forest (outside of San Diego) we really liked it there but it is a little far... and besides our favourite campsite is booked for the next month or so

Try looking at Barton Flats / Jenks Lake area in San Bernardino Nat. Forest or Silverwood Lakes up the 15 a little ways.

Doheny Beach is great but hard to get in

it is official.. I just reserved a spot at Lake Jennings for a few weekends from now..

I can't wait ..... I camping!

I just noticed that you can rent row boats and stuff and go out on the lake.. and you also can fish there...

yeah we rented a cabin up at big Bear one spring a few years ago for dirt cheap because it was off season.. we had fun.. we had no neighbors on either side.. it was soo nice and quiet...

i'm skeered of the woods.. and the aminals, and all the insects that bite, like ladybugs, spiders (all of them are poisonous of course) and evil moths
