I have patience issues....

Tomorrow is the closing on my old house - yeah we actually sold in this crappy market.

But the ex left one lonely piece of furniture hanging in the kitchen. It's nice - used, but nice.

I've had it on freecycle tonight and nothing. Maybe I should make the ad more snazzy???

I used Freecycle to death when I wanted to purge before moving once. Sometimes it takes a few days.

Try listing on Craigslist in the free section

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

It sounds crazy, but people seem to respond better when you put a price tag on it for more than $20. People tend to think if it's so dirt cheap or free, it must be infested with fleas or had a rotting corpse on it. Better to sell it for $25 or $30 on Craigslist.

Excellent idea with the craigslist - just posted it there. Fingers crossed, it goes tonight or tomorrow morning. The ex - no, not the sharpest knife in the drawer - says to me tonight while doing a the test walk thru "I'll just tell them [the buyer's] it's a house warming gift!". Yeah - ok - like that will fly.

Looks worth $30, right?

OMG....that's a bargain! I would have listed it for a little more ...$45? I'm sure somebody will buy it fast! Very nice! :D
