woah... I'm still amazed by tonight.. in the last second Turkey managed to score that one goal.. simply unbelievable, I cannot say else.. so much luck.. oh my..

Oh well, I think Germany, however, will beat Turkey with 2-0..

And then.. a final with Germany against the Dutch... ahhhh wont that be a match between true rivals :D

but oh well, we still have to play a few games until the final is there and theres lots what can happen in that time unfortunately

I work for a Dutch bank and every single person at work dreams of a German - Dutch Final! For weeks they have not been talking about anything else but soccer

I read that in the German tabloid yesterday, it is very sad and so tragic. The news said that he was still going to play in the tournament and that all the players of the Dutch team are going to wear a black armband during the next game, to solidarize with him and his wife. (F)

I've heard this as well that he would still play today and the rest of the tournament, I don't know anything about a black armband, though, but I can imagine they will do it, they're a real close team nowadays and they really support each other.

I do wonder if he will actually be capable of playing with the recent happenings in the back of his mind. I can imagine it must be very hard.. then again, it might also be a way for himself to get on with his life. Whatever the case is, it is very sad this has happened and it sure covered the Dutch's happiness with a dark blanket that day.

I wish both him and his wife all luck that they can get.

But I think it's pretty amazing that not only his team, but also the country is showing such visible support. And not just his country, but many others as well.

Who says soccer fans are all crazed drunk lunatics :)

Well guess that was it for my country...

I can't really believe what I saw tonight... My country deserved to lose for real, Russia was a lot better...

One thing I don't understand, though. At the start of the whole tournament, I never expected the Dutch to go on after the first round, they turned out to do it anyways and did it greatly too but what was that then? Just a one time show? I have no idea and I really don't get it.

I feel kinda desilusionized :S

Oh well.. guess I gotta cheer for Russia now since they have a Dutch coach lol
