$400 AOS fee Rejected???

the first payment of $70 is already accepted and 'PAID'

now we are to the payment of $400

If we are both talking about the Adjustment of Status, I- 485, your sending the incorrect fees.

i posted this in the CR-1 forum so we do not have adjustment of status for CR-1

i am talking about affidavit of support... which is $400

we just paid online today both for AOS & IV Bill, then the status says: IN PROCESS. Did u provide a route number from your bank which NVC will used to get your payment thru online transactions?

How did you manage to pay both at the same time? I paid the AOS and it's showing 'paid' but still does not allow me to pay the IV bill yet.

We are using a Lawyer and he was designated automatically as the "Choice of Agent" DS-3032 is not applicable to us anymore. (it saves lots of time actually) NVC generated our AOS & IV Bill at the same time last May 26, 2008, so it means we pay both together.

Sino's Suga, when u paid your IV Bill, did the NVC generates the IV Bill already? because correct me if i am wrong, per some VJ's here, you cannot pay online unless NVC generate/s IV Bill after payment of AOS. In our case we both pay online for AOS & IV Bill because we have a Lawyer and DS-3032 is no longer applicable to us. Our online transactions is still In Process, im praying it will not be rejected after i read your post. Though we made sure we do it accordingly. Try to call NVC and inquire about it. Not possible, it would say Not Invoiced and the payment field would be grayed out.

ok so apparently i am not as smart as i think i am sometimes!!!

i missed one number on my account number....

didn't catch it until the 3rd attempt

it is successfully paid now!

I verified my account number and routing number, I know I have the money in my account.

I called my bank and verified I dont have restrictions on my account.

I have never seen it even tried to hit my account. Like I've never seen it hit the bounce.

My wife got an email in the mail saying that they have accepted me as the choice of agent.

I tried calling the NVC but they said they dont know anything about the online system.

What happens is, Ill pay it online. The next day it shows paid. Then Ill come back a day later and it shows not paid.

The IV bill is already showing too. So Ill be paying that next.

Should I try it a third time?

I have been thinking that I have to mail this thing in AFTER it shows paid.

No. You must pay the AOS before you mail the AOS packet in.

then it will show IV when it is time to pay it.

It only rejected mine because I had ONE number wrong in my account number....

My suggestion is if it rejects it the third time then write a check and get it sent in.

you don't want it to expire.

You have to pay before you send in your AOS package, you will need to print the cover letter from online payment to send in with your AOS Package. Your Package could be rejected without the cover letter. This needs to be done with your IV Bill as well.
