lol I might be the only one???

Hi:

I am a May filer also. I don't think a thread has been started for us. Maybe one of us should start one. I mailed my I-130 on 5-15 and received my NOA-1 on 5-22. From what I've been reading it seems that we may have a long wait ahead of us. However, the VSC (that's where I filed) is hopeful that they would have overcome their backlog by the end of the fiscal year (september) and the forsee that things should speed up after that

I haven't had a touch since June 6. But at least we haven't gotten an RFE yet either!

Thirdsjen- I am so sorry to hear about your family, but am happy that they are safe!

The letter the director of USCIS wrote about processing times said that there were less petitions this year than last and they are expected to have completely close to 250,000 more than they did last year by Sept 30, the end of their fiscal year. I wonder if that means that things will speed up for us just before the Sept 30 date or after. Has anyone had a NOA2 recently from the May filers???
