Science will never be exact but for those that are paying attention to the verbiage in the research as well as the actual data, people will get a pretty good understanding as to what is going on.

A computer model is wrong? Say it ain't so!!!

Well this guy is offering a competing computer model - as I said from my layman's reading of the article - the guy isn't disavowing GW as much as offering his own interpretation as to how warming will affect tropical storms.

In direct opposition to the "consensus". That is heresy to the GW scientists. That is why he will get slapped down. dissent isn't allowed in this argument, remember?

Scientists have always disagreed with each other - yet you don't get see the same B/S pseudo-science debates about disagreements over theoretical physics that you do with environmental science.

It's just so frustrating because every single year, I do stress about this very subject. Having family in hurricane alley is not fun.

I really figure if all the glaciers melt like they predict due to global warming, hurricanes will be the least of our problems.

It's just so frustrating because every single year, I do stress about this very subject. Having family in hurricane alley is not fun.

I can relate as well. The tropics have been more intensely affected from these kinds of storms, and while some of it is reasonable tied to natural causes and natural effects, we can't yet dissociate the artificial contributions to GW that act as additive to the weather phenomena apparent to most, blinding to some.

I think wind turbines are causing an interuption in surface airflow. Thus causing an unatural jet stream, therefore unstabilizing our atmosphere.

Not to mention the fact that the little creatures lives that live around these turbines are being interupted and driven from their native lands. This is the equivalent of the anwar in Alaska only ten times worse.

If the jet stream was a surface atmospheric pattern then I'd have motive to just blame your babble but then perhaps it also reaches the actual jet stream...
