I'm so annoyed, I sent my app on Friday for Saturday delivery, paid extra for that & they left it in Omaha til today. So it's not there at NSC but should be by 10:30AM. I'm so angry! Not about the money, which I will get back, just the timing, because, as we know, it's all about timing here.

It does suck but there will be many MANY things which will try your patience over the coming weeks/months - you have to find a happy place and go there when this stuff happens - as long as it WAS delivered thats the maain thing - I doubt a day or 2 difference will have any detrimental effects.

Good luck with it all :)

There may be adjudicators that are working overtime on Saturday, but I assure that mail room is not working on Saturday. It's like someone who goes in on a Saturday... He may be there, a few other people may be there, but the receptionist isn't there, the guy who delivers the in-house mail isn't there and the gal in the mail room isn't there.

Well as others have mentioned, USCIS barely works during the week, they certainly aren't going to work on weekends.

So in the end, the only difference is that it was delivered on Monday instead of Saturday. You are at the very beginning of a very, very long wait. If you are stressing out this much about two days delay, you are never going to make it to the end. You've got months and months ahead of you - two days is nothing. So calm down and settle in for a long wait. :)

No need to jump all over me. It was my choice to pay the extra. Geez.
