Hi Folks,

N00B here. so lets begin with the question. My partner and I (poster BMJ) sent off the paperworkto kick of the process My Immigration to the US. We'll being the dunce that I am after my last trip to the US I managed to Wash (yes Wash) my passport :crying: Which successfullly erased all the entry stamps I had been collecting. I have Obtained a new passport after hearing rumours of folks getting turned away OR extra scrutinisation because of a washed passport.

I know one of the Undeniable proofs Ive at least been in the country is the entry stamp in your passport. I have now been issued a new passport. And the UK Government charged me for the privelidge  Yet I digress while it is mentioned that this is one of the accepted proofs. Des anyone think they will hold it against me for not having my own record of entry. I have the old passport returned butI doubt that will help at all

Anyways, Thanx for any input

As a Canadian, I've never had entry or exit stamps on my passport when arriving or departing from the US. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Make sure you have copies of your boarding passes or tickets. That will be sufficient proof for filing that you've been in the country.

We can't give a reliable answer based solely on what you don't have without knowing what you do have. What evidence do you have that you were in the USA within the past two years? Or, more to the point, what evidence do the two of you have that you've been together in the past two years?

We (xaos and I) have pictures of us taken at Disneyland California, a family picture made, we have some of his e-tickets from flying out, I have his name on all the Disneyland stuff, like the hotel we were booked at, his and documents saying who all the tickets were for. I guess I should have thought more about the immigration proof when I was taking all the pictures because I have more pictures of xoas (Mark) with the kids then I do of the two of us together. I think we have maybe 5 or 6 of us together and a million with him and the kids.

Don't worry about it. I sent no copies of passport pages, no boarding passes, no tickets - just a copy of my itinerary and two pictures of us together. That was enough! People do send in a lot more but you can't send what you don't have! Don't worry about it. Good Luck

Thanx for the Input Hun :) You beat e to the punch regarding the info I Do have. It seems so far that what we do have will be enough. Besides Should I get asked about it I do have the washed one and my new one as proof that it did get washed.
