A couple ideas I'm thinking about...instead of throwing birdseed, give each guest a small packet of flower seeds, to take home and plant...as a reminder of the day.

I've asked my future MIL to make a throw cover for guests to sign, in place of a guest book. Thought that would be a different touch, and with a guest book, I would most likely shelve it and hardly look at it.

Karen, have you thought about embroidering the signatures after the event, just to ensure that they don't get rubbed off accidentaly? A simple backstitch would work in that case. Just a thought. :)

I found this website that has Ribbon that they can personalize. I thought it would be kinda cool to use with wedding favors or Scrapbooking or anything that would need ribbon for a Wedding. They can print anything on it and the ribbon comes in all kinds of sizes & colors.

Just thought I might share it here in case anyone is interested. They also do personalized gift wrap as well.

Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

While I await my plans.. My oldest daughter has set her date for her wedding..

she just asked me two nights ago if i would host it at my house. I have a big back yard. . so can have the people she wishes.. . .. .. just had a thought..

Instead of Bird seed.... since my daughter wedding is going to be outside.. on the grass... I think.. mmmm. hey what about.. grass seed ha ha ha ha ha ..

will have to pass that one on to her .. giggle giggle..
