I know this is probably posted somewhere already on this forum, but I just don't have the time go search and search. :( I just LOVE the clothing here in Egypt and have already bought a few things for myself. :P I was wondering if anyone else might know of a site I can go to once I am back home so I can order. Thanks in advance!

A few shops sell to the US, but the shipping and mark up is horrendous. I'm sure you've seen the tunic like shirts with embroidery around the collar and sleeves. I got 3 or 4 last time for 15 LE each. We went to a cultural festival today, and the egyptian booth was selling them for $15. Next time I go, I'm going with an empty suitcase and stocking up on tunics and abayas

I've found that this site is a pretty comprehensive directory to most modest clothes sites online, which include a fair number of ethnic clothes sites.

I've personally ordered from Islamic Boutique, and although their shipping is high ($20), their stuff is fantastic. I got the wedding abaya from there and got a ton of compliments on it.

I have a few dresses from here http://desertstore.com/ They STUNK like oil when they arrived but it came out with one wash. They do custom sizing.

OMG...the caftan's on here are sooooooooo pretty! At first I was a little dissapointed because of the colors, I need a white one and have not been able to find one. But once I clicked on the style, each style comes in white!!!!!! I was hoping they would have one that had some beading on it, but they ones they have are still nice.

Have any of you seen any online stores with beaded caftans?
